Potential successors to Cameron position themselves before close election

Following Theresa May and Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party conference speeches, Professor Tim Bale’s told Reuters that “this conference is to some extent a pre-audition for a leadership contest that might take place”. He adds: “It's tricky for them (the contenders) to pull off. They have to lay out their credentials, while at the same time being seen as team players."
