Dr Rainbow Murray appeared on France 24 to discuss the role of women in the forthcoming French presidential elections. She explained why there are no women candidates for the two main parties, and what parties should do to ensure they have women candidates in the future.
She also commented on the treatment of male and female candidates by the French media, and explained that the absence of women was not because women simply were not good enough to do the job.
