Professor Bale discussed his book, The Conservatives Since 1945, with parliamentary correspondent Mark D’Arcy. He begins by discussing how transformation and the adaptability of the party has led to it sustaining itself in power. Professor Bale also appeared on Ken Livingstone and David Mellor’s programme on LBC 97.3FM talking about the Prime Minister’s current difficulties with the party.
