Dr Daniel Kato, Triangulation is the not-so-new black

Dr Daniel Kato writes for Public Seminar about the impact of ‘triangulation’, which is traditionally described as persuading voters from one party to another while nevertheless staying true to their own core beliefs. He said: “Trump is doing something similar, albeit from the Republican side. Trump’s triangulation involves taking for granted centrist Republicans while vilifying people of colour in order to woo white voters.”
