Professor Tim Bale writes for Conservatives Home Comment section about the lure of Conservative members to the UKIP party. In a YouGov poll in 2013 29% were found to have a higher propensity to vote for UKIP. Yet, only five per cent of them voted for alternative parties like the ‘People’s Army’ during the 2015 general election. Often, this indicates ‘an awful lot of talk and no action’ from the Conservative Party, he says.
