The British International Studies Association’s Historical Sociology and International Relations working group is holding a workshop at QMUL on December 14. The theme is 'The Future of Historical Sociology in International Relations and the Problematic of Difference’.

Papers given at the workshop will examine the state of historical sociology in IR, with a more sustained focus on the problematic of difference central to the main strands of heterodox and critical IR, post- and de-colonial approaches in particular.
