Public Policy is the study of how problems are addressed within political institutions. Through studying public policy, students gain theoretical and practical insights into policy formation and implementation.

Queen Mary's MSc in Public Policy is a unique programme, focused around current debates in policy-making and public management in both developed and developing countries. Its broad international focus is designed to give students an insight into the common and divergent challenges facing policy makers across the world.

Students take taught courses which allow them to explore the development, implementation and evaluation of a wide range of policies. In a research dissertation, students have the freedom to pursue their own research interests, working with specialists in the field.
