Enrolment and Induction

As a new student you will be contacted by Academic Registry giving you details of enrolment procedures.  Please see the relevant enrolment guides for Home/EU Students and International Students for further details. 

Enrolment will take place on Monday 19th September 2011 from 4.30-5pm in the Octagon, (No 16 on Map)

School Induction for New Students 

Wednesday 21st September & Thursday 22nd September 2011

Arts Building, Mile End Road (No 29 on the Map)

In addition to the college enrolment, there are additional sessions which you must attend as part of the School's own Induction.

These sessions are designed to welcome you to the School and prepare you for your studies with us.  Sessions include information on the following;

  • Personal advisers
  • Module selection and registration
  • Students’ Union
  • Careers
  • Disability and Dyslexia Unit
  • Advice and Counselling
  • Study skills

NOTE these induction details are for those students taking Single honours Politics and International Relations or our joint programme Politics with Business Management.  Other joint honours students should see the web pages of their home departments;  School of Economics and Finance,  Department of Geography, School of History,  School of Law or School of Languages Linguistics and Film.

Returning Student Induction

You should have received information from Academic Registry concerning your re-enrolment, as this can be done online before your return to college.  If you  are having any problems please contact Registry direct at stuadmin@qmul.ac.uk.
