POL392 Parliamentary Studies (internship)

Description:
This module is designed to give those who take it a view of British parliamentary politics from the inside out. Students will spend two days per week between January and April working for a parliamentarian, either at Westminster or in constituency offices, or both. The module will be assessed by students completing a reflective journal of their day-today experiences. An internship is an intensive and demanding exercise, but should provide a formative experience and useful skills for those interested a career in politics or politics-related fields. 

This module is not available to visiting Associate Students.

Assessment: 1 x 4,000 word Journal (100%)
